The screw itself is 6/32, as advertised. I needed standoffs to mount a motherboard. Then I found a smaller screw is needed for the top screw, I'm guessing 4/40. These are good quality brass (or brass-like) hardware. At first, I couldn't get a 6/32 screw into the top screw hole. In the past, these have been tapped 6/32 on both ends. I gave it a "4" because I think this should be listed in the technical specs.
